Eligibility & Referral

The Advocacy service is open to survivors of any gender. Survivors can refer themselves or be referred by a third party, providing they have the survivor's explicit consent.

Service Description

OSARCC is a feminist organisation committed to supporting survivors of sexual abuse, rape, domestic abuse, and harassment. It offers a free and confidential service to self-identifying women and girls who are dealing with the effects of sexual violence, and to anyone who is supporting them.

OSARCC supports self-identifying women and girls and non-binary individuals recorded female at birth who have experienced any kind of sexual violence and abuse, and anyone who supports them. 

Services include advice and advocacy, counselling, support groups, drop-in groups, psychoeducation sessions, listening services, SEE project (advocacy, counselling and empowerment work for survivors aged 14-18). OSARCC also provides training on how to respond to sexual violence and support survivors to professionals and individuals.

You can also donate to or volunteer for OSARCC. Volunteering opportunities may include supporting service users, fundraising and publicity. Please visit their website if you would like to support OSARCC, including volunteering, making a donation or fundraising.

Listening services

Confidential listening services for survivors of sexual violence and abuse and their supporters are available by phone, text or email.

Phone support is available on 0800 783 6294 (freephone) on three evenings a week:

Monday 6:30pm - 9pm

Sunday and Thursday 6:30pm - 8:30pm

Text support is available by texting 07537 432 442 on two evenings a week:

Thursday 6:30pm - 8:30pm

Sunday 6:30pm - 8:30pm

You can email OSARCC at any time at support@osarcc.org.uk and they aim to respond within seven days.
