Service Description
Food Rescuers is a student run organisation that aims to tackle food insecurity and poverty on the streets of Oxford.
They are partnered with a number of cafes and restaurant that donate leftover food for their volunteers to collect and distribute to people experiencing homelessness on the streets.
Key functions & activities offered
- Food wastage recovery and redistribution
- Providing a meal to those who may not have access to one
- A friendly volunteer group
