Eligibility & Referral

Referral through homelessness organisations and self-referral. The project can help if you are rough sleeping, in a hostel/night shelter, squatting, on an unauthorised travellers’ site, in temporary accommodation, sofa surfing, or living in a tent/vehicle

Service Description

The Hope Project is a service supporting dog owners experiencing homelessness or in housing crisis.

Owners can sign up to the Hope Project veterinary scheme and access free vet care for their dogs.

The service also works with homelessness services to support them to become dog-friendly so people and their pets can stay together.

The service has an online directory of dog-friendly homelessness services across the UK.
